Slow start of the month
Marktrapporten verschijnen alleen in het Engels. De rest van de site is wel in uw taal beschikbaar.

Yesterday was the first trading day of April, and it will not go into the books for anything remarkable. Most talks were about the same topics, inflation, where is demand, stocks and when will we see higher prices (Q3 or Q4?). The general conclusion seems to be that nobody has a strong opinion. Producers agree demand is weak, but they prefer to sell week by week, month by month. There is very little to gain with long-term contracts for them. End users would rather buy something for Q3 and Q4 and their demand for closeby remains very low. Its a copy of all the info we had over the last weeks.
Today we expect a morning without much action as we expect partners to wait for GDT results. Looking at last week's pulse results and hearing the feedback from our partners we expect the GDT to trade lower again for all products. We wonder what cheese will do, as it has corrected over 20% in the last two events. Can we expect a bounce? or is the pain not over? In general, we expect the event to be down between 2-4%.
